Rock Paper Scissors Game
Description
Rock Paper Scissors Turns the Playground Duel Into a Quick Wager
Rock Paper Scissors needs no rules page, which is rare for anything in a casino lobby. InOut Games took the hand game everybody learnt as a child and released it in 2025 as a single-player instant game under the tagline "The classic duel, reimagined".
You already know how to play. That is the whole appeal.
One Gesture, One Reveal
Set the stake first, then pick one of the gestures on the screen. The studio's page gives each of them a character, and "the all-covering Paper" is the best of its descriptions.
Your choice locks in, the opposing hand is revealed, and the old hierarchy decides the round. Rock crushes scissors. Scissors cut paper. Paper covers rock. A winning gesture pays on the spot, and the screen is ready for the next duel straight away.
The round is a single decision and a single reveal, so a session moves at whatever speed you tap. Players who like a ritual can stay loyal to one hand all evening. Others switch after every result, following a hunch that the opponent is due a change. Each round stands on its own, and the one before has no bearing on the one that follows.
The design is as lean as the idea. A minimalist screen keeps the two hands at the centre, and the moment between your pick and the reveal is where all the tension lives.
- RTP: 98%
- Features: Three Gestures, Instant Win, Single Player
A 98% Return and an Auction Decided by Scissors
The Rock Paper Scissors game returns 98% over the long run, a high figure even among instant games. Very little stands between the stake and the result, and the return reflects that.
Its brevity makes it a natural interval between longer games. Several duels fit into the time a single bonus round takes elsewhere.
The gesture game has settled bigger matters than a casino stake. In 2005 the Japanese businessman Takashi Hashiyama could not choose between Christie's and Sotheby's to sell his company's Impressionist paintings, so he asked the two auction houses to play rock paper scissors for the job. Christie's chose scissors, on the advice of the eleven-year-old twin daughters of one of its directors, and won a sale worth about 20 million dollars.
