Spinning Lights

Spinning Lights Turns the Reels Into a Neon Dance Floor

Spinning Lights puts a night out on the reels, with neon signs and a flashing yellow band glowing over an electro-disco track. Kissing couples in purple and DJs at their decks make up the cast, and the whole thing was pitched at music fans when it arrived in 2019.

The grid is the first thing to catch the eye. Five reels run in a 3-4-4-4-3 shape, so the middle three columns form a taller 3x4 stage while the outer reels stay shorter, a little like speakers standing either side of a dance floor. Thirty paylines thread across it.

Red Lips Kiss the Reels and Symbols Grow to Giant Size

The wild is a pair of big red lipstick lips, and it comes in stacked, so a single reel can turn into a column of substitutes on one spin. Medium-paying symbols have their own trick: they can swell into 2x2 or 3x3 Mega symbols, and on a grid this compact a 3x3 block takes over most of the centre stage at once.

A Bonus symbol can land at random and pay an instant cash prize on the spot. The free spins round is where the multipliers come into play, attaching random win multipliers to the wins inside it, and Spinomenal's own notes add a prize box to the mix.

At Bitz you play the Spinning Lights slot from a crypto balance, setting the stake in the panel before the music starts.

A Steady Beat With 95% Coming Back Over Time

Medium volatility suits the layout. Wins come along at an even pace, and it is the Mega symbols and the stacked lips that turn an ordinary spin into a big one. Over the long run the game returns 95%.

Neon has a longer history than disco. Georges Claude showed neon tube lighting to the public at the Paris Motor Show in 1910, and the gas itself glows a single red-orange. The blues and purples on these reels belong to other gases and coated glass, which is how sign-makers have been producing those colours for about a century.
