Bac Bo

Bac Bo Plays Baccarat With Four Dice

Bac Bo is Evolution's dice version of baccarat, with the cards replaced by four dice in four separate shakers set into the table. Two belong to the Player and two to the Banker. Each side adds its pair together, and the higher total wins. No third-card rules to learn.

You back the Player or the Banker, or put a chip on the Tie, during the betting window. A winning Player or Banker bet pays 1:1, and the return on both is 98.87%.

The Shakers Stop One at a Time

All four shakers start together, and the suspense comes from the order in which they stop. The Player's first die settles, then the Banker's first. Whichever side is ahead at that point sees its second die stop next, with the Player going first if they are level, and the other side is left holding the final die.

It means the last die always belongs to the side with ground to make up. Every round ends on a comeback attempt, with the running totals updating on screen as each shaker comes to rest. The studio is Asian-themed, and a dealer hosts the table while the machines do the rolling.

Tie Payouts Climb as High as 88 to 1

The Tie is where the Bac Bo table game gets its big numbers, because the payout depends on the total both sides share. A tie on any total from 6 to 8 pays 4:1. On 5 or 9 it pays 6:1, on 4 or 10 it is 10:1, on 3 or 11 it is 25:1, and a tie on 2 or 12 pays 88:1. The Tie bet returns 95.52% overall.

Player and Banker bets are looked after too: when a round is tied, 90% of those stakes go back to the bettor.

The 88:1 prize is priced on real dice arithmetic. A total of 2 needs a double one, and both sides have to roll it in the same round, so a tie on 2 or 12 turns up about once in 648 rounds. A total of 7 can be made six different ways, which is why the middle of the pay table pays the least and shows up the most.
